About the role
We are excited to invite a detail-oriented and analytically minded Business Controller to join our Control & Strategy team on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE). In this role, you will play a supporting role in the financial controlling department, contributing to both the operational and strategic management of If. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support special projects and collaborate with various departments across the organization. Looking ahead, there may be an opportunity to transition this role into a full-time position, depending on business needs and performance. What are you going to do?
- Conduct standardized financial analysis and prepare reports to support both operational and strategic decision-making.
- Perform strategic, competitor and market analysis to contribute to If development.
- Assist in the monthly and yearly closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Support the budget and forecasting processes, contributing to the design and management of the budget.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and contribute to special projects.
- Provide general support for the controlling department, tackling operational tasks as needed.
- Continuously enhance business performance by analyzing financial data and offering actionable recommendations.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
What do we expect from you?
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant area, such as business control, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in Power BI (or similar) is considered an advantage.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written to communicate with colleagues from different countries.
- Proficiency in any of the Baltic languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization, with the potential to take on additional responsibilities in the future.

For stability
- Monthly salary for full-time work: From €2800 to €3800* gross depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, there is an annual bonus. (*Please note that the specific amount may vary due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries.)
- Our primary workplace is office, but there is a possibility of hybrid work, and we provide a compensation for establishing an ergonomic home office.
